Served Him Right

Ana Blacksmith hosts an "ex-orcism" brunch with her sister, Vera, and close friends to celebrate her breakup with her toxic boyfriend, Paul. The celebration is cut short when police arrive to announce Paul has been found dead. Suspicion immediately falls on Ana, whose volatile reputation precedes her. The tension escalates when one of the brunch guests falls deathly ill, seemingly poisoned by the food Ana served.

As the investigation unfolds, led by a detective with whom Ana shares a past, a darker narrative emerges involving a secret network of women who use ancient botanical knowledge and poisonous herbs to deliver justice to men who have escaped it. Ana and Vera must navigate their own family's history of "The Knowledge"—a legacy of herbalism and retribution—to uncover the truth behind Paul’s death and the poisoning before Ana takes the fall for a crime that might be part of a much larger, generational design of female rage and vengeance.
