Roselle Lim

Roselle Lim is a Filipino-born author who moved to Canada during her childhood, growing up in the vibrant, multicultural neighborhood of North Scarborough. Surrounded by a rich tapestry of Asian cultures, Roselle’s storytelling roots were nurtured early on through the tales shared by her lola, her paternal grandmother. These Filipino folktales sparked a lifelong love of narrative and imagination.

Her upbringing blended Chinese superstitions with Filipino Catholic traditions, creating a unique cultural lens that deeply influences the themes and textures of her novels. Fascinated by mythology from a young age, she immersed herself in stories that continue to echo in her fantasy-driven writing today.

Roselle is also an artist at heart and sees writing as an extension of her creativity, what she fondly calls “painting with words.” Through her books, she brings color, emotion, and a deep sense of heritage to every page.
