Natasha Pulley

British Author

Natasha Pulley has written quite a few remarkable books—and readers around the world have taken notice. Her debut novel, The Watchmaker of Filigree Street, became an international bestseller, earned a Betty Trask Award, and was shortlisted for several major honors, including the Author’s Club Best First Novel Award and the Locus Awards. It even held a spot on the Sunday Times bestseller list for much of summer 2016. Her second novel, The Bedlam Stacks, followed suit with accolades of its own, including a longlisting for the Walter Scott Award and a shortlist spot for the Encore Award.

Her latest release, The Hymn to Dionysus, continues to capture imaginations and comes with a bonus for book collectors—two beautiful editions, one published by Gollancz in the UK and another by Bloomsbury in the US.

Beyond the page, Natasha’s life is as adventurous as her stories. She’s lived in Japan as a Daiwa Scholar, and also spent time in China and Peru. In 2016, she was named the Gladstone Writer in Residence. Today, she shares her expertise with aspiring writers through teaching roles on the Creative Writing BA and MA programs at Bath Spa University, and she also runs courses at the Cambridge Institute of Continuing Education.
