Lauryn Hamilton Murray is a Scottish author whose storytelling is shaped by a deep affection for melancholic heroines, hidden truths, and the wild beauty of stormy landscapes. From an early age, she found herself drawn to writing tales steeped in emotion and mystery.
She studied English Literature at the University of Stirling before earning a Master’s degree in Creative Writing from the University of Edinburgh, where she honed her craft and developed her voice.
When she’s not writing, Lauryn is often found soaking up the sun with a good book or exploring the outdoors with her two beloved dogs, Huxley and Ziggy.
Her debut novel, Heir of Storms, is set to be published in June 2025 and promises to bring her signature themes to life in a sweeping, emotionally rich narrative.
Lauryn is represented by Catherine Cho at Paper Literary.
