Kristen L. Berry is a storyteller at heart, with deep roots in Metro Detroit where she was born and raised. A graduate of the University of Michigan, she earned her bachelor’s degree in English language and literature, a foundation that has supported both her professional and creative pursuits.

For nearly two decades, Kristen has brought her sharp mind and thoughtful voice to the world of communications, lending her expertise in PR to some of the most recognizable consumer brands. Yet, even while building a successful career, writing remained her quiet constant, a space of her own where ideas could breathe.

Her debut novel, We Don’t Talk About Carol, marks a powerful entrance into the literary world, showcasing her ability to weave emotion, memory, and tension into a compelling narrative. When she’s not writing or immersed in a book, Kristen finds joy in physical strength and motion—lifting weights at the gym, hiking the Malibu trails, or exploring the culinary landscape of Los Angeles alongside her husband.
